Jean Mills


Jean has been dancing since the age of 5, but she only started to take exams as an adult, when her children had grown up. She completed all her amateur IDTA exams in Ballroom, Latin and Freestyle and took her professional teachers’ exams in 2002. She competed in the team that represented City-Limits in the Supadance Championship Finals in 1999, and the team were successful in winning the Northern area trophy.

She has worked for City-Limits in a managerial capacity for 25 years. Initially, when the dance school was smaller, she turned her hand to all aspects of the running of the school, but as the school has grown, she has moved into the role of finance manager.

Jean still teaches at the school and enjoys giving private lessons to adults in Ballroom and Latin.

Tracey Pearson
Tracey Pearson started dancing at the age of 9 and competed in Classical Sequence competitions in the Northern Region. At 16, she decided to train as an instructor and she qualified as an IDTA teacher in 1987.Tracey is Studio Manager at City-Limits and has worked here for 13 years.

Tracey also teaches modern jive to groups, wedding couples, competitive couples and gives private lessons to adults.
Nicola Parkin

Nicola is the events manager at City-Limits and co-ordinates all the functions, from overseeing the wedding receptions and parties, to organising fundraising events such as the 10th birthday party of Treetop House (The Sick Children’s Trust).
Nicola also organises corporate events, ensuring the smooth running of team-building days, award ceremonies, meetings and workshops. 
Nicola’s background is in marketing and she enjoys developing promotional materials for City-Limits.
As a former dancer, Nicola is passionate about the City-Limits business and loves being part of an energetic dance environment.
